Go Paperless!

Too Much Paper on Your Desk?

paperlessAs an online donor, you may not need the giving slip and envelope that come with your monthly statement.  Or you may already know how to view your statement online and don't need a paper statement mailed to you each month.

For whatever reason, if you prefer not to receive a monthly statement, you have the choice of going paperless! (Note that this only affects monthly statements.  Annual paper statements for tax purposes will still be mailed each January.)

To opt out of monthly statements, you'll need to have an online account.  Once logged in to your account, select a household donor and then complete and submit the Statement Preferences form. The same form may be used to resume paper statements if you change your mind at any time.

online statementsOnline Statements

Online statements provide donation details and a summary by fund, in a year-to-date format.  "Last month's totals" formatting is only available in a monthly paper statement mailed to you.

To view your online statement:

  1. Go to essexalliance.org/donate or click on the word DONATE at the top of any page.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Scroll down to Contribution History.
  4. Select a year and click on Print View.

Note that donations by cash or check will not appear on your statement for up to 30 days after the month in which they were given. This is due to an import process that is run after month-end.

Online donations through eCheck or credit card show up immediately as given. Online donations also minimize the workload on our Finance Team. See Online Donations for more information.

One Final Note

Concerned about missing the monthly stories of how your giving is changing lives? You can still read them on our Thank You! page. Perhaps you have a story you would like to share. Let us know!
