Lord, when did we see you hungry?
Matthew 25:37 NIV
M25 Food Drive
You can make a difference in someone's life every month!
Our Foundation for M25
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' "
Matthew 25:37-40 (NIV)
Food Shelf Recipient
As we look forward to our move to Williston, we are beginning to reach out to fill needs in that community by having a monthly food drive. Items collected are being donated to the Williston Food Shelf. They, in turn, give excess items to other food shelves and food banks in the area which will multiply the people and communities who will be helped by our food collection.
How it works
Reuseable grocery bags are handed out the Sunday prior to each food collection and are also available at the Information Desk in the lobby.
A list of needed items to choose from will be provided on this page & in the bulletin prior to the next collection.
The next collection:
- Sunday, December 6
Just give your bag to a volunteer at the bins which will be at each entrance at the church. Collections will usually take place on the first Sunday of the month, unless otherwise noted in the bulletin or on this website.
The next shopping list:
Here is a list of items to choose from for the December 6 collection: pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, ritz or saltine crackers, and juice. Please...nonperishable, unopened, and not expired items only, plastic containers instead of glass jars, no home-canned goods, no expired items.
Dates for other upcoming Food Drives:
- January 10 - February 7 - March 6
