M25 Food Drive
Our Foundation for M25 Comes from Matthew 25:37-40 (NIV):
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' "
How it works:
Reusable grocery bags are handed out the Sunday prior to each food collection and are also available at the Information Desk in the lobby. All food donations are given to the Williston Community Food Shelf.
The next shopping list:
Here is a list of items to choose from for the September 11 collection: pasta sauce, canned soup, juice in plastic bottles, canned fruit, cereal, peanut butter, granola bars and fruit cups. Please...nonperishable, unopened, and not expired items only, plastic containers instead of glass jars, no home-canned goods, no expired items.
Be a part of the team!
It takes many hands to receive and deliver these food collections - and you can help! To volunteer call Care Ministries 878-8213, x. 140.
