Join the Student Ministry Staff

There are 2 ways that you can volunteer with us:

1. Join our Sunday Night Staff; or

2. Fill in as needed with Miscellaneous Staff Help.

To help you decide how you want to serve, here is what we are looking for in our staff:

1. Sunday Night Staff

Have accepted Christ as their Savior and are actively pursuing a relationship with Him
Live a Christ-like lifestyle in all areas of morality
Give an average 5 hours/week to Student Ministry
Are consistently available on Sunday evenings and commit to serve for at least one full school year
Consistently participate in Essex Alliance worship opportunities
Are at least 18 years of age to help with middle school, and at least 21 years of age to help with high school
Support the mission of Student Ministries
Follow the conflict resolution pattern as taught by Jesus Christ in Matthew 19

Fill out an application to join our Sunday Night Staff.

2. Miscellaneous Staff Help

Help in the snack kitchen on Sunday nights
Provide adult supervision at large events where extra staff may be needed
Assist with administrative tasks in the church office
Help with set-up or tear-down on Sunday nights or as needed at events
Lead a small group for high school students during the week
Help produce dramas and videos for special events and on Sunday nights
Are at least 18 years of age to help with middle school, and at least 21 years of age to help with high school
