Single Again
If you are single as a result of death, divorce or separation, this ministry can help you deal with the hurts, struggles and newness of being single again.
"Divorce Care" classes and various activities for single adults and their children provide loving care, support and encouragement to help you move ahead in life, build new friendships and grow as a follower of Christ.
Divorce Care Classes
Divorce is a tough road. Feelings of separation, betrayal, confusion, anger and self-doubt are common. But there is life after divorce. Led by people who have already walked down that road, we'd like to share with you a safe place and a process that can help make the journey easier. Spring classes: Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm at Essex Alliance Community Center, March 5-June 4, 2008. (Cost $25.00) Walk-ins are welcome. For further information, contact Terri Gozza: 999-7706.
Living Single Again Support Group
This Support Group meets weekly on Wednesday Nights, from 6:30-8:30 at Essex Alliance Community Center. Starting May 14 we will be using If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat by John Ortberg. There is no cost for this 6-week class and walk-ins are welcome. For further information, contact Sue Farris: 734-0695.
