About Learning Together
It’s been said that once a person stops learning he begins to die. This is especially true for Christians. I have known Christ for more than 30 years and I am amazed at the new things that I continue to learn about God and His Word to us, the Bible. It is through the Bible that God has revealed Himself and how we should live. In some ways, the Bible is a collection of God's love letters to us. In other ways, it is His manual or guide for enjoying and living life to its fullest.
Learn Life the Easy Way
I had to replace the garbage disposal in my house. Being rather handy, experienced with repairs and male, I decided that I didn’t need to read the instructions. Had I read the instructions, I would have learned that a knockout plug needed to be removed before hooking up the dishwasher drain to the disposal. I could have learned the easy way and saved myself two hours of frustration, aggravation and water leaks simply by reading the manufacturer’s installation manual. The Christian life is the same. We save ourselves a lot of trouble, turmoil and grief, and learn to enjoy God and life to the fullest when we learn from God’s life guide, the Bible.
