New to Essex Alliance?
We hope you'll join us this Sunday to see for yourself what we're all about. Before you attend, you may have some questions about what to expect. Many have asked "So, what's goin' on at Essex Alliance?" Take a look at this video clip*. . . it might answer some of your questions.

One Church, Two Campuses
We offer five services every Sunday morning — two at the Essex Cinemas and three at our Old Stage Road location. The services are identical, with one exception at the cinema: there is still live music and worship, but the message is viewed on "the big screen." The Cinema location also offers a great on-site coffee bar. Read what the Burlington Free Press has to say about it!
Get Directions
We are one church with two campuses: one at 37 Old Stage Road and one at the Essex Cinemas. You can see a map on our Hours and Directions page.
Parking
Old Stage Campus: You are welcome to park in any of the lots that surround the church and the Community Center/Gym. Our smiling (usually) parking attendants are also on hand to direct you to an open space. If you choose, feel free to drop off any passengers at the front entrance before parking. There is handicapped parking in front of and to the right of the main building.
Essex Cinemas Campus: Simply make your way to the Essex Cinemas and park where you'd like!
Bring Your Kids
If you have children, we invite them to experience our age-appropriate opportunities for fun and learning during the service. You can check them into their areas before the service. You'll be given a bracelet with your child's assigned number at check in. If you're needed during the service, your number will show up on the small black monitor located at the front left-hand side of the sanctuary.
Old Stage Campus: Children from birth through age 2 check in downstairs (one level down from the lobby level) in the main church building. Ages 3 to pre-K check in at the Mountain View Room (go up a half level through the Fellowship Hall and through the double doors at the end). Grades K through 5 meet in the Community Center/Gym adjacent to the main church building.
Essex Cinemas Campus: Theaters next to the one you'll be worshipping in are transformed into three kid-friendly areas: the Reel Kids Nursery for children from birth through age 2, lil'Fusion for ages 3 to pre-K (10:30am service only), and kidFusion for Grades K-5.
Ask for Help
The folks at the Information Center in the lobby would be glad to point you in the right direction. (Or just grab the arm of somebody walking by... most of us don't bite.) While you're there, pick up an overview of all that's going on at Essex Alliance, chat with the folks at the desk... and if you do leave with unanswered questions (and we hope you don't), be sure to get in touch with Colleen Gabrielle in our Welcoming department, at 878-8213, ext. 38.
Go to the "Sanctuary"
(located off the lobby in both locations) If you're at the Essex Cinemas Campus, grab a cup of coffee at the Connections Café in the lobby, then head into the theater. In either location, you'll hear 59 minutes of contemporary music and worship and a practical message that will make a difference to your Monday. Helpful folks at the doors will hand you a weekly bulletin full of information, and help you find a seat.
(By the way, we understand that most visitors don't want to be singled out in any way... so we won't ask you to wear a badge, stand up, or embarrass yourself in any way. Check out some more of our answers to frequently-asked questions about our church.)
After the Service...
If you're at our Old Stage Campus, check out the Information Center located in the lobby. At the Cinema Campus, the Information and display tables are in the hallway just outside theater 1.
Whether you're just starting to ask questions about God, or are a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, we hope you'll find a home here at Essex Alliance Church.
